The Eanes Education Foundation (EEF) is the fundraising arm of the Eanes Independent School District (EISD). We raise funds to help ease the burden that recapture ("Robin Hood") and "hold harmless" laws place on Eanes. Eanes focuses on excellent education rather than the adequate education the the state provides. EEF strives to Fund the Gap Between Adequate and Excellent. Since 2004, EEF has granted millions of dollars to Eanes ISD for the primary purpose of funding teacher and staff positions on every Eanes ISD campus.

Did you know that many of the things we take for granted, such as smaller class sizes and teacher support staff at the elementary level (e.g. GT teachers, specials teachers, librarians, nurses, counselors) are not required by the state. Neither are AP classes at the high school level, advanced math and language arts at all levels, and all of the outstanding electives made available to our students as they progress through their K-12 years.
Our largest grants to date have been dedicated to teacher and staff positions. Additionally, we have recently expanded our efforts with our first Directed Giving fund -- the Partnership for Teacher Excellence Program (PTEP). This innovative program, funded by specific donors who make multi-year commitments, provides substantial scholarship assistance to Eanes ISD teachers who wish to pursue a master's degree. Additionally, PTEP is a partnership with Texas State University, which provides classes on Eanes campuses during the school year.
The quest for excellence never ends, and community support is vital to the continued success and forward progress in that quest.
